Perpetually Wandering Writer

Hello there! Welcome to my site. Browse around, though you will need a super secret password to take a look at the work I’m just a little proud of… Please reach out and I’d be happy to show you around my portfolio.

I’m a Technical, Content & UX Writer who is (perpetually) in the process of discovering my voice. I have experience in technical writing and creative writing, as well as a passion for design and visual communication. I like helping people understand complex technology and recently took classes to become an expert in UX writing. I just became certified and can be found on the list of distinguished graduates here. :)

As of June 2022, I am now open to job opportunities in Los Angeles or any remote roles. Please feel free to send me a message!

Something I am always thinking about is what I would say if someone were to ask me to describe my writing style. I grew up reading so much that I was nicknamed “the bookworm” and was often the only one excited for silent reading time during class. As I grew older, I began pinpointing certain writers, books, and phrases that I loved because of their vernacular and the way they were able to move my heart and mind with their words. My most worn books can be seen full of post it notes, highlights, and ideas and thoughts scribbled in the margins that the books evoked. One of the things that make my heart swell with happiness is reading a beautifully written line. I record the lines that touched my heart the most, hoping that it would instill in me an inspiration and skill to compose beauty in writing. What I have realized overtime is that these dozens of writers and styles that I hold close to my pen, have slowly combined into my own kind of style and voice. I am a combination of all that I admire and strive to be, and that in itself is what I would define my writing to be. After all, what are we if not an impression of everyone that we’ve ever met, read and learned from?
